Recommended Posts

27th Mar 2008

* Price changed: from '£324,950' to '£249,950'

That's a MASSIVE drop today !!!!!

Wellingborough is particulary over-priced. Very poor area, lots of people speculated on houses.

Anyone familiar with this area/house ?

Depressing town. Kind of an overspill for people that have been priced out of nearby places like Milton Keynes / Northampton - Was seen as a place for FTB's to bag a bargain in an 'up and coming area' a while back. I suspect many more of these towns just outside more affluent places are going to tank completely over the coming months as people realise their 'investment' isn't quite what they thought it was.

Yup -- We saw them queuing up - no! - pitching tents and then queuing up to snap up their "bargains" ........[often ex-army pre-fab/cardboard Noddy Houses.....]
