At a guess, they realized that due to the stamp duty bands, 267K = 250K max. They then had a couple of goes at trying to work out how far they had to be from 250K so that they could take a drop but be above 250?

hes on a little self indulgent scam. the seller is aware of the property problems i think.

seller thinks if he raises price now he has scope to 'REDUCE' later.

kind of dumb idea, but then any buyers from 2007 were pretty dumb too.
