Request For Probably Unobtainable Info...

Bit OTish, but...

The missus and I have been engaged in a running game of 'Count to the For Sale signs' for a while now, and one thing that's becoming apparent round here (south Surrey \ north West Sussex) is that not only have we had a bit of an outbreak of 'For Sale' signs, but the number of properties that are going 'For Sale' -> 'Sold STC' -> 'For Sale' outnumbers those that have actually sold and stayed that way by, well, pooploads. In fact, since last Autumn, there's only one on the usual local driving routes that's 'Sold' and stayed that way.

For what it's worth, none (well, nearly none) of the properties we're watching (interest value only) are classic FTB fodder - they're much, much further up the chain than that - hence the "chain" question, as they're only likely to see sales falling through as the result of a sale a few steps down going tits up.

Sooo...

Does anyone here - one of our EAs perhaps - have any idea how the whole chain completion issue is going at the moment?
