Recommended Posts

Surely making this information available to the public might prompt them to lose confidence in the banking system and remove their pension funds and savings to a safer place ?

Oh for god's sake, this is just a routine reassessment on the hold/buy/sell advice of owning shares in these companies. This is not a credit worthiness rating downgrade.

All big companies are subject to hold/buy/sell changes in their shares.

Ok thanks for that, I not very well up on these things.

Can anyone point me to some companies that hope to make loses this year and face financial ruin as I need to invest my life savings and need somewhere safe like Goldmans or Lehman Bros as I dont want to get burnt.

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. to negative from stable, saying net revenue could decline between 20% and 30% this year after write-downs.

Don't spread this new around or Gordie might have you locked away for 20 years.

Gordon doesnt really use the internet, its just a publicity stunt.
