At Last - Cheap Ftb Home In Cornwall.

Recommended Posts

I am sure with a little thought and imagination it would be possible to convert it into a pair of semis and make a killing.

Tiny office on sale for £20,000

The building was originally built as a loo

What is possibly Cornwall's tiniest office, known as the Tardis House, is on sale for nearly £20,000.

The 7ft by 6ft (2m by 1.8m) building, close to Truro's cathedral, has room for a table, chair, computer and very little else.

"It is the smallest office building we have ever sold," estate agent Neil Sargent from Stratton & Holborrow said.

The building, originally built as a loo, is being offered for sale with a 125-year lease at £19,950.

A business is currently being run from the site, which is built over the river on Wilkes Walk.

"There's room for a chair, a table and a computer, but that's it," Mr Sargent said.

"I can stand in it with my arms outstretched and touch the walls.

"When there's two of you in there it gets pretty friendly."

Funny thing is not one of the pictures relates to the hut, it's all of the views and they are free for visitors

Beach huts in Frinton, Essex go for more than twice that.

The owners are currently in talks with some major banks who are considering the opportunity of purchasing it and relocating their projected staffing requirement there for use as a head office.

The competition is fierce with both HBOS and Northern Rock engaged in a bidding war.

Even as an amusing "and finally" news story, that doesn't make sense. That thing is practically worthless. I wouldn't give £500 for that, let alone £20,000.

It could be used as a booth for the sale of pasties.

Im surprised no developer has whacked in a planning app for a 'sympathetic' restoration of the building, adding 15 floors on top with oversailing retail and ancillary offices uses (b1).

Come down to Dorset. We have had beach huts go for around a quarter of a million. Yes - you read it right. Google 'beach huts West Bexington'

Also, what are the toilet facility regulations regarding commercial premesis?

Probably not required by law. Many small shops don't have their own loos, market stalls certainly don't. Cafes don't need them for customers unless they have over something like 20 seats.

You fail to spot the "investment potential", Knock out the walls replace them with glass and rent it to David Blane for a month for a %age of TV rights.
