RP was just on Radio 4 News talking about how the US Fed has to target growth rather than inflation and hence it will do a 1% cut today even though inflation is higher in the US than in the UK. Went on to say that we will not see such a big cut here because the BOE has to target inflation and inflation is rising in the UK.

Hanging on the every words of... a journo... how the mighty have fallen <sniff>
