Are Local Papers Starting To Report The Crash?

Recommended Posts

Spotted this in one of the local papers (Surrey Advertiser) I get sent to the office.

Interesting as:

1) It mentions hpc.co.uk by name.

2) Surprised that a local paper (whose main sources of Income are usually publishing property porn supplements full of house listings) would even consider publishing something negative about property. Ok it is in the reader’s letters section, so no doubt no one reads it and there will be a bunch of EAs replying next week saying they've never had it so good. But perhaps it does show there is still journalistic integrity out there.

This did make me think though. As most local papers are purchased for the property supplements, perhaps dedicated HPCers should make their views felt locally as well as on this board. Hit the market at it root so to speak.

My local paper, "The Dorset Echo" is still ramping the market in every way it can. Even the TV listings quote Location Location as the must watch program every week.
