Can you blame them?

Work less hours, better social life, Better accomodation and standard of living, Strengthening Currency, Higher wage increases.

Time to make like a tree, and leave

The fact is, it so true the standard of living in poland is rocketing its been going up since last year, as she says why work in the UK have no life when you can go home and have a life. So now even the poles etc.. dont want to work for a low wage no gain at all.

Well, it'll be harder to find successful Poles (plenty of them here but not so visible), who are leaving UK for better life in Poland. A graphic designer doesn't want to work as a shop assistant??? What's it got to do with living in Poland or in the UK?

Everyday, I see tons of articles about Poles flooding the UK or Poles returning home in their 1000s. The fact is that each case is different, and the press and TV try to oversimplify the issue...

I've lost count of the number of times I've said the important word in "Economic Migrant" is the first one. If the returning home trend continues, will have to track down a few individuals and re-ignite the pub conversations. Still, 2009 will be the interesting year for this.

Disclaimer : Moo has nothing against Poles over here at all. After all, they saw a decent opening and took it. Can't blame them for that at all. The sad part is the negative effects we've seen here, and those felt in Poland.

Standard of living rocketing???? Any evidence of that please?

(apart from wage raises that can hardly match inflation in PL and houses that are even more overpriced than the UK's ones)

...and don't forget the ZUS issue that will become very painful very soon.

That photographer has go the right idea, get some upskirt shots!

There appears to be a bit of a mini-skirt leg war going on there. One of the girls has a knee lenght skirt then all the rest seem to be 'competing' to show as much thigh as they can get away. Notice the heels also - some are thick whilst others are like pencils! I wonder who they are trying to impress?

I've known a polish girl for a few years, she finds it very funny when english girls go out in winter with short skirts. It's basically only the prostitutes who do so back home.
