Gordon Beats Up Disabled People.

Recommended Posts

How odd, Gordon goes on television telling the public about disabled people being scroungers, sitting on benefits when they could be out working, so much so he cuts their benefits. Then he gives the nodd to axe thousands of disabled peoples jobs.

Is the man a schizophrenic, or just full of sh1te ?

After the failure of an 11th-hour appeal to Gordon Brown, 28 factories employing the disabled will close. The workers are accusing the government of a 'shameful and gross betrayal' of society's most vulnerable.

The Remploy group's 'modernisation' programme will see half its 5,000-strong workforce lose their jobs. The company was set up more than 60 years ago by Clement Attlee's Labour government for soldiers returning from the Second World War, but more recently it has provided secure, supported employment for thousands of disabled people in the UK.

Phil Davies, a national official for the GMB union, which has fought the closures, has ripped up his Labour party card in disgust. 'There is a lot of anger and bitterness at the cruel way Labour has given up on these people,' he said. 'This has caused very bad blood between the government and unions. We have never seen workers treated in such a despicable way. They are being bullied into accepting these closures.'

There were 83 factories, until this month, but 28 will be closing. Over the past 60 years they have made everything from wheelchairs and surgical footwear to nurses' uniforms, chemical and biological warfare suits for the Ministry of Defence, toiletries, car parts and furniture. There are factories that recycle white goods, as well as assembling electronic units and binding books.

Remploy argues that sentimentality and history must be balanced against bald economics. It says it still intends to serve as many disabled people as possible. Leading disability charities argue that recent legislation should encourage a move beyond the dated view that disabled people can only work in factories staffed by other disabled people, and should encourage them to do ordinary jobs in ordinary places of work. For the cost of keeping one factory manned by 60 disabled people open for five years, Remploy says it can find 1,200 jobs for them in mainstream employment. 'The aim of the modernisation is to quadruple the number of jobs we find for disabled people in mainstream employment - that's 20,000 jobs a year by 2012,' said Remploy spokeswoman Helen Wardle.

The unions say most of Remploy's skilled workers face a future of shelf-stacking or trolley retrieval at supermarkets, while others will never find jobs. David Reed, 48, who has been partially-sighted since being diagnosed with a brain tumour when he was seven, worked at the furniture factory in Aintree, near Liverpool, which is to close. 'Everyone was very upset. We have a lot of people with severe learning difficulties and they were bewildered, trying to understand what was happening.'

Reed, who has been with Remploy for 20 years, said he would find mainstream employment difficult. 'Put me outside and I'll be treated like an idiot. If I had to go to Asda and Tesco, I couldn't make it across the car park without bumping into a car.'

Paul Bragg, 41, who has spent 19 years at the Birkenhead Central Cutting Unit - where textiles are cut to make chemical warfare protective suits - said his skin condition, vitiligo, meant he could not work outside without the risk of contracting skin cancer. 'I could probably find another job,' he said, 'but many of my friends would not find it so easy. One friend needs to take painkillers constantly after a motorcycle accident and needs time off to visit the doctor. If he is alongside someone in Tesco, they would complain because they would end up doing the job of two men.'

But James Murdoch, 37, who suffers from epilepsy, has moved from Remploy's Spennymoor factory in Co Durham and not looked back. He now works at a local sheet metal factory and is learning new skills: 'It's challenging, but the work is fantastic and I am working with people I was at school with.'

No I'm afraid this is socialism.

Hitler's eugenics hard at work....and it's utterly abhorent.

A society is judged on how it treats the most vulnerable, the young, old, infirm, disabled are still human and need to feel a part of the family. The current administration seem hell bent on throwing anyone who does not measure up to worker ant status on the scrap heap.

pure evil.

I`ve decided that if Gordon ever comes to Portsmouth I`m going to rush the security and stab (not shit-stab, but knife stab) him to death. Yes, I`ll go to jail for the rest of my life, but it`ll be worth it  I am disabled too and I am sick and tired of the most vulnerable in society being pushed out of the way for Pramfaces and immigrants!

Brown and Thatcher = same person

E.g. No respect for anyone; self-righteous; delusions of grandeur. Just needs someone to plant a bomb to complete the similarities

so who knows with a face transplant and a new body, will this be Gordon ready for the 2010 election?

It's the divide and conquer scenario. All this talk of benefit scroungers etc. stops the electorate laying the blame firmly at the government's feet. The UK seems to be a place where freedoms are being eroded to allow more and more power to those who were elected. They have forgotten that they are there to serve us. I predict they don't care what sort of mess they make of this country, as they can always emmigrate - example Tony Blair on his departure from UK politics!!!

The bizarre thing is as medical science keeps hearts beating for longer as people get more and more unhealthy the government tells us we'll live biblically-long lives while kicking people when they are too sick for work.

People are just so freaking unhealthy. I know work colleagues on their refined-sugar, choco-chomping diets that seem to be suffering with a head-cold every other week during winter. I haven't had a real cold for a couple of years at least.

Others are fairly obese and I was amazed during a canteen conversation that three of the middle-aged people I say with had type 2 diabetes. Coming to think of it, a lot of people are carry more weight then they need to. Do you ever see a paunchy chimpanzee or a fat fox in the wild? We're evolved to eat what we need not grow to excess on chemically-laced junkfood shite.

So if some diabetes-ravaged, cancer-surviving forty-something is just too sick and tired to turn up to their boring job and sit plonked all day in a myriad electro-magnetic field they're not skivving in the true sense of the world.

The government want sick, lethargic, apathetic people just about able to haul their bums to the coalface and back and slump in front of the gogglebox and get programmed to be utter morons.

It's been proved hundreds of times that societies that eat mostly real, unrefined foods have massively less degenerative diseases that people eating the supermarket slop of the average Brit. Yet only a tiny fraction of anti-cancer research deals with lifestyle and nutrition or identifying environmental carcinogens in comparision to research spent on drugs, cutting-edge surgical procedures and radiation therapies. The former yields little 'product' while the latter swell corporate coffers like no tomorrow. Which I why I roll my eyes when ever some poor ******* runs a marathon for 'cancer research' because his wife's just died of breast cancer.

A-HA!!!

Got it in one.

Here we have the agenda, yes it's socialism(of hitlers variety)

We can become the immortal god-like master race if we have body parts repaired and replaced, and we are all with the programme.

it's been going on a long time......the medical technology has been almost perfected to sort the body out.

...the mind job is work in progress....probably to be sorted out by some kind of hypnosis or resonance therapy to adjust the brain.

But do you want to be part of this programme.....or be yourself??

Since I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes I have been very careful: no sugar of any kind; minimal salt, meat and other cr*p. Plenty of fresh water and vegetables. Take at least 30 minutes for a quick walk every day. Blood sugar levels are well within safe limits now, but I must remain vigilant.

I am a lot better than I was. The trouble with diabetes is that it can reduce your immunity.

People are working the longest hours in Europe, getting home to eat some micro-skanked meal and then p*ss it up at the weekend. Then they wonder why - say 20 years down the road - they`re at death`s door. When I was in the office, I saw loads of weight-laden larda$$es struggling to move; some of them were just about able to stand unaided.

Modern life seems to be a miserable treadmill punctuated by a few fleeting moments of satisfaction, to be erased when Monday morning comes round again: `Same s**t different day!`

I`m sure that the government want more than just sick people (they require food); how about some tame `Resident Evil (3)` zombies to greet you at work?:lol:

Strange you should suggest the purchase of a book.

I would suggest you yourself read The Red Paper on Scotland

Gordon Brown is a Communist Dictator in waiting, only spin lies and deciet are covering up the plan to destroy society and control everything from Central Governemnt.

Simple: the Tories are scum, but the lefties in the media hate them and oppose and expose them at every opportunity. Labour are scum, but the lefties in the media support them and cover up for them at every opportunity.

It should be obvious that a government of scum who are opposed by the media will be able to do far less damage than a government of scum with the media in their pockets. Just imagine the outcry from the Guardianistas if a Tory government had tried to force through ID cards, for example.

Brown presides over the first nationalisation in decades, but he isn't a socialist? That's a funny one.

Edit: or maybe Bliar did a couple, I forget exactly what happened with Railtrack, etc?

Consider three Questions please.

How would a Tory prime minister have responded to the sudden death of Princess Diana, in the outcry of public sympathy? Would he have told the nation “ to pull itself together” or jump on the band wagon?

How would a Tory prime minister have reacted when aircraft were flown at the WTC. “Don’t look for sympathy from us Mr Bush.” Or stand shoulder to shoulder?

How would a Tory prime minister act when shown and told of CIA material of weapons of mass destruction photographed over Iraq. “I’m sorry we are with Europe on this”?

I’m not saying the outcome would be the same but the attitude is, and this is why I think the debt crisis would not be any better or house prices more stable over the ten years.

My point is irrespective of what Brown wrote in the mid seventies he now behaves nothing like he dreamed about then

The dead give away was when Labour were first elected they kept to Conservative policy for a year and included in that time was a privatization of a national enterprise that’s floundered ever since
