What We Gonna Do When The Money Runs Out

Recommended Posts

well, what are lenders going to do now the markets have not 'thawed'? Any signs of banks lending to each other again? Is securitisation now effectively dead for a decade or more?

I suspect our banks are going to the ECB and the Fed on the quiet. Or, perhaps the Arab banks.

The money is not there. The trillions that were fabricated to fuel Gordon's housing boom never were there.

Folly, shere and utter folly. IMO we don't have long before this grim reality hits the psyche of the markets and then everything* goes down hard. As of now, its too horrible to contemplate. A huge, hideously ugly Elephant is sitting there in the middle of the room and no one dare acknwoledge it exists.

Is there any evidence out there comparing MBS 'creation' this time last year and now? is it on the ABX site?
