I watched this last night. Fantastically depressing stuff.

The idea that the city layoffs could be many times the 10000 quoted by Experian (was it?)

That would badly affect the "immune" areas like London and my home town.

A friend of mine who has had contact with quite a few "Successful" traders is very scornful of their ability to hold down a job sweeping roads if they weren't in the City.

Obviously on here, we have some very insightful city people, and I don't want them thinking that I don't value their input, because I have learnt an awful lot, but there will be some who will struggle.
