Public Sector To Take On Unemployed Financial Workers

BBC: Call for free money advice scheme

Good to see the government is already planning public sector jobs, probably to be filled with unemployed mortgage advisors and other spivs from the ‘financial disciplines’.

didnt secondary schools recently introduce education on personal finance? maybe the govt is thinking ahead for once ie when the kids leave school they can man the phones.

seems it will cost 12 million, which means the time they have set up the offices and hired the staff they will help about 1000 people before closing the doors.

like every single government scheme like this the real winners are the highly paid staff.

i hear it costs 500 pounds to issue every 100 pounds out in benifit, this dont include all the silly training schemes ect.
