So the blame game has begun in earnest. I must congratulate NuLab on attacking the banks foirst. As a disinterested commentator on this fight I think they may have swung a little early.

..and the British people would see what gave them their much beloved housing boom, and they liked not what they saw..

But, this can't be true.... it wuz all them sub-prime lot in America wot dun it! ;)

But the British Bankers' Association said Northern Rock was a unique case and there was 'no real evidence' of other banks lending irresponsibly.

If you don't look for something then the chances of finding it are slim......
