Straight Talk On Bbc News 24

Recommended Posts

Andrew Neil has just interviewed that Thatcherite Minister Jim Prior on News 24. Actually, he had some interesting things to say and thinks that we have a big recession coming and that nothing can be done to stop it now. Thinks Brown was a good Chancellor but not a good PM but because of policies of recent years there is nothing left to avert the coming recession.

Only caught the last 2 minutes but it sounded a very interesting chat.

How can he think Brown was a good chancellor but not a good pm because of policies of recent years.Well he made those policies did he not or is he saying it was all Blair but then why say hes not a good PM. Doesnt make a lot of sence.

You can watch it here. (BBC iPlayer is great - I've not watched it yet - will in a moment).

I only caught the last minute or two as I was turning over to catch the weather. Probably best to watch it when the BBC repeat it on News 24 or when it pops up on their website - which I can never find (the News 24 one if there is one).
