Brown's Vision

Recommended Posts

Sorry about that. Here it is:

http://www.labour.org.uk/spring08/gordon_b...s_to_conference

He starts:

We can now all see - through climate change, global terror, new epidemics, and the credit crisis that jumped the Atlantic – that there are huge global forces reaching around the world, and making their presence felt in every part, of all of our lives (...)

He then goes on to say nothing about any of this.

Sorry.

It was shocking. Incoherent and patronising as usual. "I want a Britain that does not judge itself on titles.....class war, socialist scot returns, revealing true colours.............Even the Beeb said he did not know which exit to take as he left the stage saying on two succesive news reports "delegates will be hoping has a clearer grip on the direction for his party".............ouch.....

As our economic situation gradually worsens this year and as things begin to snow ball, recession, people losing there homes, higher and higher unemployment rampant inflation in food and commodities, watch this guy blame everything and everybody but himself. This numpty painted himself as some sort of miracle economic genius he is so screwed, it will take decades to fix the mess he has created.

He may be vague about politics, but he's ******ing mean on plastic carrier bags

To date, being tough on plastic bags and the causes of plastic bags is probably his most notable positive achievement.

Anus clenchingly bad. It would be easy to pick this speech to pieces , the bits about Mini (BMW!) and youtube for example but really .....does he believe a single word he's saying ?

If and when the economy crashes he'll still be spouting the same old bowlarks......trust me, it's going to get even more surreal as the months pass.

So what? The government has no say in the running of the UK anymore anyway, they are paid to act, but no longer make the main decisions -- that's all up to the EU now.

Brown waffling on about nothing much is more honest that you think it is... *smirk*

Makes you realise why Blair was so reluctant to give him the reigns.

It also explains why Blair has been smiling so much recently. He must be finding all of this dreadfully amusing.

Herr Brown has a vision for the great British people?

At least Hitler gesticulated in a passionate manner. I want to see Brown with a bit more gesticulation.

Brown's handlers are trying to train him to do gesticulation but so far he can only manage a strange clawing gesture.

Sounds like a wind up, nobody could talk this amount of p*sh and get away with it.He has been at the heart of new labour since they were elected, it is too late to bang on about what they "will" do for the country. Saw the lib dem conference today, can`t even remember their leaders name, he came across as very non charismatic, what joe pesci would call a mumbling F*ck. It was like watching some bizzare late night open university program from the seventies. The only electable party at the moment are camerons lot, they will be in power at the next election. Brown looks to me like he want`s to coast into retirement as PM, then write his book and do his speaking engagements, the only thing that will damage him now is being turfed out before the next election, he does not give a f*ck about anything except his own access to power, otherwise he would just resign.

Ten years ago only one in six of us had mobiles, and they were as big as my hand.

Now, people update facebook on the bus, call relatives on skype and share their holiday videos on youtube.

all thanks to New Labour??

Status update: Gordon is talking ******** at a conference in Birmingham (30s ago).

"Ten years ago only one in six of us had mobiles, and they were as big as my hand."

..."And NOW only one in six of us owns a house, and it isn't much bigger than my privy"

is what he should have said...or

" NOW, only one in 6 of us can afford to put petrol in our car, the rest of us are walking to work"

(Mods - we seriously need a " finger" smiley.)

Bang onna money here mate - this government looks and acts like muppets and puppets because that's exactly what they are. In 1707 Scotland was sold out to England by a parcel of rogues. The same crime has been perpetrated today on the whole of the UK, bought and sold for EU gold...

I was having a chat with mate about this last week - we noted that despite cajoling from the EU and US, China is not becoming any more open or free than before - in fact it's becoming clearer and clearer that in order to complete WE are being remade in THEIR image.

Grown Brown drops strong hint of no election until 2010
(What's this?)Gordon Brown yesterday gave his strongest hint yet that he will not hold a general election until 2010.
The PM's intention to delay going to the polls emerged in a rallying call to the party faithful as he urged them:
"Let us build the Britain of our dreams."

"Let us build the Britain of our dreams" should stand alongside his other infamous saying quoted below in my sig.
