Land Reg Data Updated On House Price Websites

Recommended Posts

Ok, just got my quarterly email giving me house price info for my street.

And I'm over the moon! I live in a terraced house in Southsea, Portsmouth.

+ My landlord bought in early 2005 for £180k

+ July 07 a house a few door up went for £285k (but did have a loft conversion),

+ In earlier August 07 a similar house sold for £240k

One sold in December, exactly the same as the one I rent... Same side of the road... same garden size... Ok, I don't know the internal condition... but it sold for:

£175k!!!

Like, the crash is on!

Heres the data for the block of flats I'm in. From 50k (2000) to 108k. Then a 7k drop in 2 weeks. Probably doesn't say much cos the values seem to vary by about 5k generally. meh.

1 23/11/2007 £101,000

2 14/11/2007 £108,000

3 16/07/2007 £107,000

4 04/07/2007 £108,000
