House sales down by a fifthGrainne Gilmore, Economics Correspondent
The number of houses sold in November last year fell by 22 per cent compared with November 2006..../
This comes only days after data from the British Bankers' Association (BBA) showed that the
number of loans granted for new home purchases in January was one of the
lowest figures on record
,
indicating that home sales figures for the first two months of this year could show new lows when they are released later this year.

HUGE numbers folks! Imagine what that is doing to EA salaries? Poor sods.
