We're desperate for staff - anyone who has experience in software development or a degree in a related field, if you want a job let me know! West London area.

Why not tempt people a little more. What's the salary package? What type of software development? Some info about the company.

Fair enough.

We are the world's leading sports betting software development house, and growing rapidly into the casino/gaming arena. Salary varies depending on experience but is competitive.

Company is about 150-strong, and will grow a lot in the next couple of years, so there will be opportunities for career expansion. It's a very programming, delivery-oriented environment - we like people who get things done quickly.

We are far less interested in your specific skills than your ability to learn quickly and deliver quickly. There are no specific requirements in terms of skill sets, but a background in mathematics/computing is important.

You behind any of those betfair bots? I've been playing with a concept for predicting the outcome of tennis matches using a technique I developed called 'deep sampling', trouble is getting hold of sufficiently detailed stats for each player is a bit of a nightmare.

Nope, I know a guy who is, though - he's bf's second biggest user. I've been accused of making it up on here before, so I won't go on. He used to work for us.

Funnily enough, though, I have bet on tennis matches in-running and have made a profit, mainly by backing the favourite when they're behind. Computer chess matches are another good one, but they are quite rare.
