Bbc Local & National Report Drops

Recommended Posts

Been a voyeur on here nearly two years and I can't believe there isn't a thread on the news aired on BBC tonight

BBC National news at 6pm tonight actually mentioned the RIC's report that houses had fallen for the second time in consecutive months and also my local BBC news had a similar report but mainly pointing the blame at HIPS.

The national showed a bloke in Wales somewhere trying to sell his terraced pokey hovel for £179,000, he'd lowered the price by £5,000 and still wasn't getting anyone in - aww, what a shame.

I whooped with joy when I saw it was coming up!

We're all far too stuffed with this excellent bear food and have been sleeping some of our excesses off. Or maybe we can't reach the keys of our computers any more 'cos we're so fat.

Still waiting for that headline on the front page of the Sun though...

actually I was surprised no-one mentioned it. I posted on a thread & said it had been on SKY news, normally there are 2 threads on the go when I try to report something.

I just think that everyone knows now that the crash has started, there is so much bearish news around now.

surely you wil have to change your usename now though ? ;)

It was great! Slightly tainted when they went somewhere else in the country where an estate agent had sold two houses today.

Yeah, if you want a new user name When 'Right Here, Right Now' would be timely.

Grumpy - I did wait, and wait, but come 15/20 mins after seeing nothing posted I thought i'd break from my posting hibernation.

Also, we're moving out of our 4 yr old rented 2 bed apartment (flat) next month as the landlord wants too much money so he's decided to sell. He's offered the place to us but I doubt he's going to get a seller. The last 2 bedder to sell in our block was after xmas after being on the market for a whole year, it went for £130,000 this Feb (mug) - it was bought for £126,500 in Nov 2003!

We've got a surveyor coming round tomorrow so I might just start prodding him about the state of the market in Birmingham, so another post might be in the offing from me tomorrow - woohoo.

If our apartment valuation is roughly the same as the bought price then our landlord has just rented out a property for 4 years without making a profit, now that would be funny.

Not much chance of that, what with Maddie, Lady Di, Dirty Hospitals etc

Depends if we get a referendum on the European Constitution or not?
