Sale & Altrincham

Recommended Posts

Leafing through the weekly local property porn paper the 'Sale & Altrincham Messenger' couldn't helping noticing the number of 'New Price' tags on many of the properties particularly in Atrincham and Hale. Not sure whether its just desperate sellers keen to shift their house after a slack summer, crap estate agents who can't actually sell or the start of something more interesting.

Had my eye on three properties all summer close to AGGS - none have shifted.

AGGS?

Pages of stuff in the SAM this week - noticed that too.

Nice house on Manchester Road (near volkswagen garage) on the market for 2 years.

Another two on Ellesmere Road right beside each other - one on at 245 the other at 315 - identical houses - go figure.

Navigation Road has a lovely selection of developer updated properties sitting on the market for +1 year because of hugely inflated asking prices. (and a rat infestation problem from the nearby canal according to a local builder)

Gaskell road has a nice big house on for 289 - its been on for 18 months roughly - has postage stamp sized garden and its way overpriced anyway.
