Northern Rock Ripe For Suspension Or Takeover ?

Recommended Posts

Given that Northern Rock is insolvent (If it wasnt, then they would not need BOE and Government intervention)

What would happen if Northern Rock Shares were suspended, would the Bank close its doors until the liquidators find a buyer, and what happens to customer deposits. I am sure the Government will only pay out after a lengthy process taking well over a year.

If I had savings in Northern Rock I would be moving them fast, there is no need to take any risks.

In addition, would the National Bank of Argentina be interested in taking on Northern Rock, they appear to follow the same corportate business model based on New Labours economic miracle.
