New Era

I don't know if anyone else feels the same way, but it seems like an awful long time since I first heard about Northern Rock. It was Thursday evening when I first picked up the story from this website. Less than 48 hours, but somehow it feels totally different today.

Is it just me?

yes, just you......................oh go on then

i hope NR get bought / taken over - i don't want to see savers screwed over - fundamentally, their business model is screwed - whoever does take them over won't be lending ridiculous multiples or 125% of anything - the credit boom is over - prices will fall

lots of people still don't understand what all this means - they don't appreciate that prices will fall - i was speaking to one this afternoon - he still thinks his house is worth a fortune - he just doesn't understand that the money that was there previously isn't there now
