GF's GF is American and does not know of any holiday today. If gold is dropping there are some severe margin calls happening. Short term I'd imagine. Hm, difficult to say what is causing this. Bloomberg comment: collapse of consumer demand for gold jewellry could undermine gold. If we see Worldwide recession it restrict price gains moving forward.
