Badger
I'm a modern kind of bloke, but it's beyond me how the NHS managed to allocate £10m to refurbish its homeopathy dept. I just watched Richard Dawkins Enemies of Reason, little wonder this country is so screwed with debt mountains, celebrity worship and violent disorder. Most of us have our heads up the a*se of crystal-swinging, astrology spouting numbskulls. Gimme strength! Go Richard! edit - link: http://www.channel4.com/culture/microsites...mies_of_reason/ Edited August 20, 2007 by Badger
petetong
Didn't you know Labours economic policy is based on homeopathy, they just keep adding more debt to the existing debt to dilute it until they have a cure

Go Richard! depressing in a kind of way - but people will always seek a miracle cure - in the grand scheme of things tho £10m is a pee in the ocean - compare it with spending on defense or UK debt repayments
Badger
Both got a point there. Still, the conclusion seems to be that many of the therapies on offer work through solely through placebo, because a natural therapist will devote more 1 on 1 time to you than the average doc. It's rumoured the royal family have used it for generations.
Solvent Celt
I guess if it works when all other medical efforts have failed it's worth it?
