The South East seems to be holding up in terms of HPI. Only North West England is posting higher HPI (2%) in August according to Rightmove. The SE is a nice part of the country and there is a lot of wealth floating around, but im surprised that the asking price stats for the month are showing an increase of this much. Whats behind it?

Looking at the Eastern Daily Press property supplement of Friday over the last few weeks and the number of properties coming on has been massive, particularly larger properties with 4 beds plus and a bit of land etc

Thought EDP covered only east anglia?
