Ahem ... the booming / bouyant ( prices will never fall here / shortage of supply / massive demand. ) South East seems to have recorded a fall of 0.3%

Yes thats -0.3%

Looks like prices were / are falling in as many regions as they are still rising.

This data is for deals concluded in June so made in March. Q1 2007 it was then - well done PG ( by the way what happened to the moustache and hair ?!)

The June figures are properties registered in June so it will relate to completions in May ie deals probably agreed in February and March

Wales mun -1.1 MoM....isn't that supposed to be the fabled Crash Speed? - it looks like it's ticking along nicely in the Land of my Fathers another few years of these sorts of figures and I may actually be able to buy somewhere.

Those who live in London have to wait for something to jump up and down about. And when it finally does, there'll be a nice raft of national newspaper articles about 'HOUSE PRICE CRASH, how could we have not seen it coming'. Then people will know 'House prices only ever go down'.

Based on Tuffers lead time post, we should see a big drop next month, as the "took analysts by surprise" spring IR rise was the first to really create the yelping in the media etc. If this month shows Feb/Mar purchasing patterns, next month's will see April trickling through. Could even see London flat or in decline. We have well turned the corner....

The figures are gutting for me, North East, Newcastle, North Tyneside all up. Thought I would start seeing a annual negative. :-(

i hear you, Hackney (where I live) is up 1.4% MoM and 18.2% YoY <_<
