My God ! Haven't We Seen A 'turnaround' In The Last

Recommended Posts

Thats' all I wanted to say really !

If you look at the NEW BLOG above practically every news item is

'BEARISH' I can't quite believe it really is happening after all this time !!!

It reminds me a bit of the NEWS BLOG someone pasted on here a couple of years ago (probably still on here somewhere) of the Newspaper headlines from the early 90's.

They all tried to be really 'guarded' and not admit the truth, but when you read back thru them all

the writing was certainly on the wall !!!

OH HAPPY DAYS !!!!

Definitely! Suddenly everything is coming together in the news creating a kind of implosion of sentiment, or as our RB would rightly say "all the poisons lurkinh in the mud....."! :P

And yet, it amazes me that there are still people who don't really need to buy who ARE buying.

My friend tells me that her two sons (in the early 20's) are buying a flat for £250,000.

God knows how they can afford it !

I tried to talk some sense into her but she just looked at me blankly as if I was mad.

Also MR GALS BEAR's neice who has been living with her grandparents (her parents live in DUBAI)

has decided to buy this week. This girl is early 20's and has just started work as an ACCOUNTANT for gods sake !!!! Surely she should know better. Again when MR GAL BEAR tried to talk some sense

into her she acted like he was mad !!!

DON'T THESE PEOPLE READ THE PAPERS ???? :(

Happy days?? be careful what you say. I would say given another 3 years HPI will be well forgotten and the theme of the day will be repossesions ,unemployment and interest rates, just like the early 90's

Mr. GAL BEAR visited a Financial Advisor today to see how much we COULD get on mortgage.

Mr Gal Bear went to see a FA to find how much you could borrow, if he had said you should buy, no doubt you would have followed his niece and bought also.

No We wouldn't !

MR. GAL BEAR is a 'bear' but occassionaly he doubts me.

Believe it or not I am the one that is all 'clued up' on property matters.

He keeps trying to get me to buy but he hasn't managed it so far !

He also likes 'baiting' Financial Advisors and EA's like me.

I generally don't trust most financial advsors and ALL estate agents anyway.

Just thought it was amazing to hear this from a 'vested interest'.
