Blimey - Usa Corn Prices Soar 60% In Less Than Year!

Recommended Posts

Don't worry, inflation is only 2%, there's no reason for interest rates to go over 5.75%, rates will be dropping in a few months, etc, etc.

Hi Wayne, v interesting - where did you get those graphs from?

I think our venerable leaders have taken their eye off the ball on this one. What % of CPI does food make up?

This is Corn:

http://new.quote.com/futures/adv_chart.act...hartUi.overlay=

For Soybeans type S #F where it says "symbol", and for wheat type W #F.

This will give you the continuous futures contract for these commodities. For other foods/fibres, have a look at these>

Cocoa CC #f

Coffee KC #F

Sugar SB #F

Orange Juice JO #F

Cotton CT #F

Cattle LC #F

Lean Hogs #F

These are just the contracts I trade. If you can be bothered looking them up, there is milk, butter, ethanol and a whole bunch of stuff.

Enjoy

my corn futures coming along well.

I may have wrongly predicted the house price crash (so far anyway), but I did anticipate the price rises in oil, natural gas, commodities, softs and gold and positioned myself accordingly.

Hi Wayne, where do you trade Cotton? I think it is the next big thing.

Cotton is traded at NYBOT. Since ICE have taken it over, they have made those contracts available electronically, so can trade through Interactive Brokers or someone like that... or any full service broker.
