Rics Bloke On Bbc News 24

Recommended Posts

Just had a senior bloke from RICs on BBC news 24 claiming we are having the soft landing expected, that the rates of house price growth have slowed and now is probably a good time to buy if you can afford it. Usual bull about supply and demand, when will they learn demand = the desire and ability to pay, if you can't afford it, you have no demand, and when houses start falling in price, people will no longer have the desire. Why is that so difficult to understand?

Anyway, looked like he was ummm adding plenty of spin IMO. His eyes were blinking ten to the dozen, ususlly a sign you don't fully believe what you are saying, but I'm no interrogation expert.

Good post mun...nice and snappy bit there about demand, it would make a good soundbite if anyone is talking to the media.
