A Good Indicator Of Hardening Times

Recommended Posts

From anecdotal evidence talking to people and looking at houses for sale whilst on holiday, I feel that a lot of Brits with hoilday homes in France, Spain, Italy, etc..... are finding it increasingly difficult to afford their rural heaven in the face of squeezed income and tough holiday letting competition.

Look at this prime example - 18% reduction in asking price - smacks of desperation to me. Surely, a good indicator of hardening times.

Still ludicrously overpriced considering it's French.

Different areas go up and down all the time. We've had years of posts like this yet we've just had more record increases. At what point do we think that the two arent linked? Im not pro HPI, im just pro meangingful posts! At least use the much less read (for good reason) anecdotal forum.
