"Mike Warburton, senior tax partner at Grant Thornton, the accountant, said that landlords could take advantage of the Revenue’s reduced-penalties scheme currently on offer for those who have failed to declare their offshore income.

The Revenue is offering a 90 per cent discount on the usual penalties that apply if individuals confess to unpaid tax on offshore income before June 22."

I hope the landlords an BTLers don't take up the offer, and go to prison for 10 years for tax evasion.

While you at it, seize all their housesand return hem to he council for them to rent out.

A. There shouldnt be a discount on penalties.

B. Hanging's too good.

I hope the landlords an BTLers don't take up the offer, and go to prison for 10 years for tax evasion.

While you at it, seize all their housesand return hem to he council for them to rent out.

The second line sounds good to me.

I think most people, on the whole, are actually law abiding. But yep I hope they catch up with dodgy dealings :).

Yes I would vote for it.

Customs seize goods so why not ILR.
