5 To A Bed.

Recommended Posts

Hello Britons, I have a message for you.

Compete you lazy, good for nothing, skilless bastards.

No wonder the dole and free accommodation is looking mightily attractive to a growing proportion of the population, I don't blame them one little bit.

Leading companies accused of exploiting agency and temporary workers by super-union Unite deny allegations

The companies charged by super-union Unite with the abuse and misuse of agency and temporary workers have all denied the allegations.

A study by the new union has accused a number of leading companies in the UK, including Coca-Cola, BMW, WH Smith, and IT specialist Unisys, of exploiting agency workers and temps.

The Unite report pointed to "substantial" discrepancies in rates paid to permanent and temporary staff. One of the more serious allegations was the claim that five people working for Unisys were sharing a bed at company accommodation, and had no access to facilities such as kitchens or a laundry.

A spokeswoman for Unisys said: "The company referenced as Unisys is in fact Intelligent Processing Solutions, a joint venture of which Unisys is one of a number of shareholders. The allegation of bed-sharing among agency staff was found to be a matter of individual choice."

5 to a bed sounds excessive. But I have witnessed (and taken part in) 9 Poles to a 3-bed house with one toilet schemes. that's more like it!

Lots of NZ/Aussie houses in London are overcrowded with shift sleeping systems.

Its not down to lack of funds, its just they want to save money rather than wasting it on rent. I'd imagine the Poles are doing it for the same reasons with the only difference being that they won't then go and blow the money on a drinking tour of Europe.

You win.

Us antipodeans can't compete with that.

Best I've managed is 5 in a terraced house with one bathroom/toilet.

Edit - Actually there was a Brit girl in there as well, until her parents saw how she

was living and brought her a house.

Hello Britons, I have a message for you.

That's the trouble when successive governements dumb down the population for decades / generations.

The country then attracts employers who only want to pay pocket money wages to the stupid employees.

At the same time if you have a brain in the UK or have a hard working attitude, the tax system / bureaucracy will eventually force you to either work overseas or to accept a position in the UK that will kill you.

If you have a brain and a good attitude to work I suggest you leave now.

If you are also lucky the housing market may undergo a correction while you are abroad and then you can always return and be ahead of the game. ;)

About 12 in a 3 bed mid terrace - but it did have a big garage space at the back where we think some were also sleeping.

Once they started fighting though the numbers would reduce .. In the end there were only 5.
