headmelter
I've been checking The Sun for months now to see when they would pick up the inflation story. Who would have thought it would be just after the 1.9 shock? Today (15 August 2007) they rock in with "Food prices to rocket...Why you will pay MORE for your Christmas dinner"Not only that, but they have a double page spread on "Exodus - where the Brits are fleeing to", based on how shite the UK is, apparently. And finally, a tiny aside mentions Abbey's owner (Banco Santander...) having that 1.5 Billion exposure to "high risk loans in the US". That's it lads, the super soaraway Sun just called the top. It's all over bar the wailing. Where can I get info on the santander news. I have an ISA with them and would like to check it out in case it needs moved. right_freds_dead
There's a little black spot in the Sun today It's the same old thing as yesterday There's a top hat caught in a high tree top There's a flag-pole rag and the wind won't stop I have stood here before inside the pouring rain With the world turning circles running 'round my brain I guess I'm always hoping that you'll end this reign But it's my destiny to be the king of pain There's a fossil that's trapped in a high cliff wall There's a dead salmon frozen in a waterfall There's a blue whale beached by a springtide's ebb There's a butterfly trapped in a spider's web There's a king on a throne with his eyes torn out There's a blind man looking for a shadow of doubt There's a rich man sleeping on a golden bed There's a skelington choking on a crust of bread There's a red fox torn by a huntsman's pack There's a black-winged gull with a broken back There's a little black spot on the sun today It's the same old thing as yesterday Edited August 17, 2007 by right_freds_dead
