Property Websites Going Off The Boil

Recommended Posts

Looks to me a very good indicator for the market, that property type websites are all losing there web rankings and fast.

from the graphs it looks like the top of the boom was q1 2006 since then the sites have been on a steadly and rapidly increasing decline.

The sites, include this one which has lost quite a few hits since q1 2006, as have right move and first rung and others.

infact hpc is 17% down in traffic in the last 3 months alone.

similar figures for all property related sites.

to me this is the best indicator i have seen yet that the love affair with property is over.

ps: a strange statistic i found was that near 10% of visitors to this site come from spain?

Probably all those people who live in Spain but can't speak a word of Spanish; trying to find out what's happening there.

They've sold the family home and split the capital 50:50 between a retirement flat in Spain and a BTL in Nottingham.

Well if they've taken any notice, the BTL in Nottingham is on the market now, reduced for 'quick sale', Ole !

Try this out. You can enter several related sites to see if there is a marked trend!

thats where i went to find this out.

i wonder if the credit sites ect are up. ie experian ect, this would further compound that the game is over.
