The Ad At The Top Of The Page

Recommended Posts

Mine is an HSBC ad that was, until a couple of days ago, enticing me to take up their fixed saving rate of 5.5%AER.

Now it's up to 5.8%, more than the 0.25% hike.

Do we all get the same or are they "targeted"?

And why has it gone up more than the rate rise? They surely don't give money away, do they?

If anyone's interested it's done by Google AdSense, which is the non search engine side of Google.

I've advertised on it before and it's definately inferior to advertising directly on the search engine.
