Is Property Bubble Ready To Burst?

a lot of english people would like independence too

incidentally, how do you get the pedometer?

Yes, a lot of English people would like independence and not having to hear the whining of the minorities about how dreadful we are.

Come the revolution.....

IT COSTS a few pence but the price of a phone call to congratulate Scotland's new First Minister was too high for the next Prime Minister to bear.

Gordon Brown has not picked up the phone to call Alex Salmond, the First Minister, whom he believes is hell-bent on destroying the United Kingdom, the political stewardship of which Mr Brown is weeks away from inheriting.

There was a call, but it's exempt from FOI. Here, for the first time and at risk of dying in the woods, is the full text of that conversation.

GB: "Hullow, Alex? It's Goordon hear. Now, listen, well done laddie, you're now one of the rooling elite.

But 'have 'tell you: We cannot afford to let these English go.

'Fact is, we are taking like loads of money off the **nts: we are pure fookin fleecing those sassanach bastards these days.

Listen, 'tell yoos, it's no union the moor: its a fooking colony man.

It's yoor patriotic duty to keep the stupid saxon slags paying thair fue, oo-kay?"

AS: "Um...?"

GB: "Aye, nice one son, ah'll see yu the morn man."

Saturday's front page:

But that nice Mr Brown said - "no more boom and bust"

and he said that he was "not going to let house prices to get out of control"

Surely the Scotsman have not been reading the script?!

More seriously, if things do go tits up up here, Scottish Independence is a real possibility - the irony is that it will be a Pro-UK Scot who has marked the beginning of the end.....

A sad reason to destroy 300 years of history, I fully believe that the Union is the best for both parties (especially Scotland) but I fear its days are numbered.

(I am from the English side of the Border (just) and have lived in Scotland for a good few years so I have at least half an idea what I am on about)

Three houses on Pentonville Road road is it?

I always liked to have that little metal dog on Monopoly. I've also noticed that the counters are less robust than in the old days. If anyone can shed any light on why this has happened I'd be obliged.

Its got to be the commodoties boom. The increasing price of the raw materials used to produce the boot, the hat, the car must be putting great pressures on the manufacturers. ;)

Thanks for the concise, yet informative, explanation.

I always fancied one of those wooden sets with gold pieces but I got a ****ing spacehopper instead.

Look at the quality here

I think the dog probably has a gold-plated ****.
