CT20 since september

terrace -7.5%

all others -3%

CT19 since september

terrace -7.5%

all others -4.5%

Seeing this I decided to see what estate agents do on a windy afternoon, so I went for a brisk walk.

There are 16 estate agents offices in the area including 2 mortgage advisor shops.

there were 59 staff visible (only included people sitting behind a desk or coming out of back offices,this was not difficult as


Only 1 customer in sight . realise this last bit of the post is only a snapshot.But other than sitting at a desk ,talking on the telephone and drinking coffee what do these people do to earn there commission????????

Perhaps there employers maybe thinking the same thing??????? ;);)

average cost all £175067..... -3.9% on quarter annual 6.1% sales 452

detached £266103..... -5.2% on quarter annual 9.3% sales 103

flats £115102.....-6.1% on quarter annual 18.8% sales 102

semi £175407.....-1.6% on quarter annual 13.3% sales 118

terraced £149484 +1.7% on quarter annual 17.9% sales129

sadly I do not have previous figures ,

thoughts tho

detached ie those with access to info on the whole ,,,not buying

flats, developers not buying

semi ??

terraced ,,, last gasp of desperate to join the indebted masses, also less developers wanting to take on the do it up cheapest properties would artificially prop this up to a degree.
