House Prices Expected To Fall

Recommended Posts

Wonder if this is part of Blair's leaving plan? Turn the 'Miracle Economy' into the 'Enron Economy' in the media just before he goes, so Brown will be left covered in the, uh, brown stuff if he does briefly get into Number 10.

They just had a slide up with the words:

"House prices expected to fall"

centre stage, as they discussed the recent Nationwide Report. Maybe they should tell the people on their forum.

(Posted earlier on investment forum by accident.)

And,- "34% are gloomy about economic prospects"

Where is the Halifax report? they have been issuing it the day before the BoE

meeting recently. It must be a good one and they are leaving it until after the meet.

I would expect so.There are so many undertones of the thatcher demise it's uncanny.

if the people pulling the strings think they've pulled the wool over our eyes they are sadly mistaken.

the sheeple might buy it but some of us have long memories!!

....do you think they'll change the record next time????

.....we'll even get a war before it happens, just like gulf war 1!!!....poor old Gordon "the grey" Major!!!...left with a poisoned chalice.

somehow I think Cameron will be a harder fight than kinnock was.GB only has his army of dependant workshy to count on this time.

"Scotty" has an increasing number of angry brits.

this'll be a good one,but expect a surge in ultra right-wing support this time.

You'd think the BoE were wise to this sort of media timing. You'd think.

cosidering retail sales/house price growth have BOTH come in above forecast,it would be nice if Merv really put the boot into the consumption lark to stave off future inflation wouldn't it!!!!

Especially with the press hounding NULab for all it's worth....another 25bp's will nail them for good!!

COME ON MERV!!!!,COME ON MERV!!!!!
