FSA issues first MPPI fine

The FSA has dished out its first fine for sales of payment protection insurance since it started regulating the general insurance industry back in January 2005.

The watchdog today fined Regency Mortgage Corporation Limited £56,000 for failures relating to its sale of mortgage related payment protection insurance (PPI) in the sub prime market...

The screws are being tightened!!!
