I've been working out of Dublin this week. Today's headline was DEBT CRISIS LOOMING AS BORROWING AT 300 BILLION EUROS. Nice cheery little number to start your weekend on!

......Then it is a recession.

George Soros predicts that the US will be in recession by Q1 next year - I agree.

Really, this recession will be doubly bad (worse that the early 90s) because the consumer didn't reign back after the tech bubble burst. In fact that recession was odd; the economy was contracting but the consumer went on a massive shopping spree! ;) Go figure.
