Room occupancy

Housing supply and demand can be expressed in lots of ways. One useful method is occupancy per room. On this score the UK has the greatest availability of property availability per capita alongside the US, Germany and Sweden. The UK has more property than France, Netherlands and Norway.

the declining occupancy numbers is why the uk gov has been persuading builders to build more and more flats... The argument is everyone wants to live on there own... Very odd considering most people i know share and live together....

Over the last 30 years population has gone up 10% housing stock is up 30%
