Buying Startergy For "a Friend"

Recommended Posts

"A Freind" of mine went STR in early 05 as part of a relocation package to take up a 2 year contarct abroad

Now he is due to return to the uk to live from may 07

His wife had been watching rightmove and noticed an ideal property on the market for at least 6 months for 225k, this was then taken of the market in june.

My friend then wrote directly to the vendor and discovered that they intend to remarket the property next spring, but at an aspirational price of 235k.

He has arranged a private veiwing for this september

how should he play his hand??

Depends on location I suppose. London does seem to be experiencing a bit of a bubble at the moment, though beginning to tail off a little now.

If you ask me, I imagine there will be a glut of property on the market next spring and very little of it will be at prices higher than they are right now.
