Daily Express Predicts Hpc

Recommended Posts

At the beginning of this month the Daily Express predicted that we would see record breaking temps:

They use the same kind of astute analytical methods for making this prediction as they do when it comes to house prices 'It was hot yesterday, so it's bound to be hot tomorrow' and 'Some bloke on the internet said it's going to be hot.'

A day or two earlier (and every week for the past two months) the same paper has been telling us house prices are going to quadruple in the next ten minutes. Given that August has been pretty pants on the weather front (and will probably have below average temps once the data is in) then we can apply the logical conclusion using the Daily Express as a yard stick that we will definitely see an HPC. Good news I think.
