What point are you making?

If it's that btl is going down the pan, this is a poor example.

He is in debt because of his business. In fact his btl's may be what saves him from bankruptcy.

Can you please tell us which direction you want to go in with this thread :blink:

Maybe pobby is saying that this is another example of people holding onto property when they should just sell it off and try their best too get solvent again, rather than agonising over "to sell or not to sell", like our good mate Ms Begg.

Exactly,that is my point.If the person could release the equity it would go a long way to paying off the debt.The way things could pan out,is the person could find her 2 btls becoming part of a forced sale and receive something less than in money terms than expected.

I only asked because you seem to suggest that all btl'ers would end up in th same boat....
