Inflation Report Should Be Out Today.

Recommended Posts

I think it was all contained in the BoE news conference this morning. I wish I had counted the number of times Merv said "I/We don't know" everytime he was pressed on house prices, inflation, effects of oil, trade balance, overvalued sterling etc.

No idea what the CPI is--must be in the hands of the ONS who are no doubt busy seeing what items need adjusting in the basket to keep a lid on inflation. :)

According to the BoE website:

http://www.bankofengland.co.uk/index.htm

Current Inflation (CPI)

2.5%

Next due: 15 Aug '06
