Trade figures disappoint as exports to EU fall
By Rhys Blakely
Britain's trade deficit in goods narrowed less than expected last month as
exports to the European Union, the UK's largest trading partner, fell sharply.
According to the Office for National Statistics, the deficit in goods in June was an estimated £6.5 billion, compared with £7 billion in May. Economists had expected the gap to narrow to £6.2 billion

Exports to the US must also be suffering. They are our No. 2 trading partner. As exports drop that is more pressure on manufacturing and jobs. Miracle Economy is strangling itself.
