Check This Vi Spin Through The Letterbox

Recommended Posts

Just got some spam through the door (or is it junk mail) from John Hollingsworth the estate agent addressed to the The Legal Owner (rather than just to the owner: classy, see?). Fulham is the location.

Amongst the list of reasons to believe the BTL market is back with a BANG [sic] are:

- Falling commercial yields (eh?)

- New REIT structure (possibly...) in 2007

And here are the jewels:

- Opportunities to put property into pensions

- Borrowing has never been easier

I'm beginning to think that the letter fell through a wormhole from 2005.

Gets worse:

Are you thinking of renting your property (must be important - it's in bold AND intalics)

Apparently, it's a landlords' market:

- Rents are rising

- Voids at an all time low

Not sure whose bum that data dropped out of, but there your go and it must be truw because JH have an office near Merrill Lynch's in the City so there.

What a load of todge.
