Fears as US house prices to dip for the first time ever

HOUSE prices are set to drop in the US for the first time on record, US investment bank Goldman Sachs warned this weekend.

The most serious financial news for decades. HPI-MEW has been driving the bubble markets and with that kind of financial momentum declining we can expect a recession of some magnitude to follow sometime in late 2006-early 2007.

It will be interesting to see if the stock market rally will peter out this week.

The first time ever...I seriously doubt it, have a book by Prechter says they crashed in the late 1920's, followed by the 30's depression ....'on record' when did records begin, Goldmans stock also crashed in the 29 crash so I'm sure they must have records of this, this article seems ridiculous
