Isa Safe Haven

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice?

I have 3 years worth of ISAs in various managed funds, and am feeling a little nervous about the precariousness of the stock markets. I would otherwise rather be in cash and metals, but would rather not lose 3 years of tax free allowance.

So the question is: within the confines of managed funds, what options are there to reduce exposure to the stock markets in the current climate? Are there any sectors/funds that may weather the coming storms?

(I have Skandia ISA, so am able to switch to a large range of fund managers/funds)

thanks in advance

Mark

Er, a deposit fund (!)

By the sound of it you're better off with low risk active asset allocation funds such as Miton Strategic Portfolio but Skandia don't do it. Cautious capital growth long term

You could transfer to another ISA provider and retain the ISA benefit
