House Registry Information

Recommended Posts

Hello! :)

Just been checking out the Registry information for the last 3 months (dated May mind) and was encouraged to see the North had a poor 3 months, dropping 3%

I am just looking to check, are the next set of figures due for release due early August and when are Halifax's next set of figures ready for publish?

Also, does anyone have any idea what the oddsmakers are predicting for IR hikes in August / Sept / Oct?

Thanks!

The Land reg usually come out around 2nd week of August.

Halifax? Not a clue, they change the dates too often.

Check out betfair, for odds on interest rates.

Also, Nationwide strangly are releasing their HPI index out on the 2nd August for July. Usually they release the data at the end of the month, so it's 1 week late. Maybe some bad news coming? Also, it's closer to the MPC interest rate decision.

Betfair's odds for the August MPC meeting are:

- 0.5 660 = 559/1

-0.25 770 = 769/1

No change 1.18 = 2/11 or 11/2ON (bet £11 to win £2 plus your stake back)

=0.25 5.9 = nearly 5/1 (bet £1 win £4.90 plus your stake back)

+0.5 120 = 119/1

All winnings are subject to commission of between 2% & 5% depending on your commission rate
